How to find us

The Princes Arms Hotel is located in the beautiful Conwy Valley and can easily be reached from many areas of the UK.

Directions from the North

  • At junction 20A of the M6 turn west onto the M56 and follow onto the A55 (N. Wales and Conwy).
  • Leave the A55 at Junction 19.
  • Turn left at the roundabout onto the A470 (signposted Betws-y-Coed) and follow to Tal-y-Cafn where you turn right and cross the river Conwy.
  • At the T-junction in Ty'n-y-Groes turn left onto the B5106.

    The hotel and Hotel are approximately 5 miles on your right (immediately upon reaching Trefriw). The car park entrance is just before the Princes Arms Hotel sign.

 

Directions from the South

  • At Junction 10a on the M6 turn west onto M54 and A5 to Shrewsbury, then to Chirk and Llangollen.
  • Follow the A5 to Betws-y-Coed.
  • Just before you enter Betws-y-Coed turn right onto A470 (signs to Llanrwst / Conwy / Llandudno) up to Llanrwst.
  • Once in the centre of Llanrwst turn left onto B5106 over the old stone bridge (care is needed as this is a narrow bridge).
  • Follow the B5106 to Trefriw.

    The hotel and Hotel are on the left the other side of Trefriw, the car park entrance is just before the Princes Arms Hotel sign up a steepish ramp.

By Air

Three international airports are less that two hours from the Prices Arms - Liverpool John Lennon, Manchester and Birmingham. There are also flights linking Cardiff with Angelsey Airport which is about an hours drive (40-45 miles) from the Princes Arms.
