Princes Arms Hotel Access Statement

We aim to provide a welsome on and efficient service to all our guests with a emphasis on comfort and provision of suitable facilities where ever possible.

There is level access to the hotel reception area, lounge bar, breakfast area and brasserie (the latter via internal corridors from within the hotel.

The reception area has one step from the outside, we can provide a ramp if required) and then all areas on the ground floor are on a single level with no steps.

The Hotel has rooms on the 1st floor, there is no lift in the building but the staircase to the first floor has hand rails on both sides. Corridors are wide, well lit and have good colour contrast.

Assistance dogs are welcome both in the apartments and in the hotel area.

Waitress service is available in the lounge bar.

Seats and tables are available outside at ground level to allow guests to take in the fantastic views over the Conwy valley. Waitress service is available to these seats and tables.

There is allocated car parking for blue badge holders at the nearest point to the building entrance (approximate distance 1 metre), the remaining parking areas are on the level with no ramps or steps.

A porter service in available to assist guests with their luggage.

There are accessible toilets on the ground floor of the building.

The centre of the village of Trefriw is only a few minutes away by foot (you should note that as with many villages there is no pavement (footpath) at some points so you will be walking on the road and care should be taken).

There are bus stops just outside the hotel in both directions. The buses from these stops link or travel to all parts of Snowdonia and to train stations at Llanrwst and Llandudno Junction. If required we can organise taxi collections from the local stations.
